Thanks, Tita Buds! Most of the participants were from the DC area, but some were from elsewhere. I loved those Filipino kids! So cheerful and friendly. They came all the way from Davao as part of a group called Songspell which performs for the Fil-Am community here.

Yes, it is part of Asian Pacific Heritage Month. It’s also part of this international culture celebration called Passport DC, which also included embassy open houses, a children’s festival, etc. Great events!
Do you know which countries they are representing?
Many countries were represented, but I didn’t stay by the stage the whole time since there were many booths and other presentations. In these photos, the countries represented are India, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Mongolia, China (+ Taiwan), Tajikistan and Nepal.
